Social Development Officer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the full spectrum of financial assistance including assessment of applications and conducting
home visits.
• Liaise with MUIS and other stakeholders for applications of financial assistance
• Plan and implement programs to improve the socioeconomic status of the mosque’s beneficiaries
• Manage the mosque’s
fidyah funds including organizing events and activities for disbursement
Requirements
• Degree holder with at least one year working experience or diploma in social work or related fields with
at least 3 years working experience. fresh degree graduates are welcomed to apply
• Experience in social work would be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision or as part of a team

• Conduct general repair & maintenance of premises & equipment.
• Assist in preparation for mosque events and programs.
• Assist in assets movement, labelling of assets and inventory management.
• Maintain the functionality of the important facilities and call for outside maintenance as necessary.
• Report any equipment breakdowns or malfunctions to the reporting officer.
• Man the fire safety system & attend to security issues (e.g. Activate SCDF when required).
• Ensure that safety precautions are taken in the course of work.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Senior/Manager/Executive, Operations
